| Guest | Windows Mail vs. Outlook Express I'm running Ultimate dual-booted with XP-Pro. I can't post on the newsgroups.bellsouth.net newsgroups under Vista/Windows Mail, but can under XPro/OE. I get a server error of '441/0x800CCCA9' under Vista but it posts ok under XP-Pro. (to alt.test, for example) The newsgroup servers are configured the same under both operating systems. Any idea what is happening and what I should do? Thanks! Ross |

| Guest | Re: Windows Mail vs. Outlook Express But I don't really understand this: I would think that Windows Mail would adhere to the NNTP standard. So then, why would BellSouth be able to post a newsgroup article if it came from XP as opposed to Vista? I'm confused! Realistically, this is not the BellSouth problem but rather a Vista problem? | Guest | Re: Windows Mail vs. Outlook Express No, because its not a vista issue. Its a NNTP issue. You said "probably bell south not supporting windows mail yet.", which is not correct. steve "mikeyhsd" <mikeyhsd@sport.rr.com> wrote in message news:OoRlHBITHHA.2228@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... seems a little funny your response supports the bell south problem in restricting posting format. just as I said it was a bell south problem. mikeyhsd@sport.rr.com "Steve Cochran" <scochran@oehelp.com> wrote in message news:186C6631-E559-4B56-9A16-7FF96021CAB8@microsoft.com...
