Spell check doesn't detect errors

In writing email messages, when I use the spell check feature, it pops up
with, Spell check complete. In the body of my messages, there are numerous
errors that are not being detected. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Re: Spell check doesn't detect errors

is it syntax errors or real spelling errors.
spell checker cannot detect grammatical/syntax errors.

Re: Spell check doesn't detect errors

After creating a new email when I click on the Spell check icon I receive the
following pop up window error.

"This language is no longer available for spell checking. Please select
another in the spelling options dialog"

I went to Tools > Options > Spelling

English was already chosen, so something was not working.

I reselected english and applyed the change, this acted like it worked but,
when I use the spell check feature, it pops up with, Spell check complete. In
the body of my messages, there are numerous spelling errors that are not
being detected. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Re: Spell check doesn't detect errors

I have the same problem. In order to perform a spell check I first have to
hightlight the contents of the email.
