Migrate e-mail from Outlook Express to Windows Mail

I would like to know how to migrate e-mail messages from Outlook Express to
Windows Mail. I know e-mail messages can be imported if both Outlook Express
and Windows Mail are installed on the same computer. But I do not want to
install Outlook Express on my Vista computer and would like to understand
whether there is another simple way. I have copied all DBX files from Outlook
Express. Though I cannot find where Windows Mail is storing its e-mail.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and kind regards, Remco.

Re: Migrate e-mail from Outlook Express to Windows Mail

WinMail doesn't use dbx files. It stores the messages individually as eml
files.

See www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#oe2wm for import information.

Thanks Steve. Your link helped me solve the problem.
Especially the part on the incorrect path was very useful.
Kind regards, Remco
