Showing EMail Addresses in Address Fields

I use first names in emails to my contacts, and prefer that their email
address not show in parens after their names in outgoing mail. Can't find
any guidance on how to set up Address Accounts so that the address can be
removed in this instance. Any help out there? Thanks .....

Whether or not the email address shows is a function of the receiving email
client.
