shutdown

when i try to close the windows mail program it tells me "windows mail has
stopped working" it then tries to diagnose the problem and start back up. It
opens up again and then tells me it failed to shut down properly last time.
How do I stop this happening????

RE: shutdown

I am also having this problem. It is proceeded with an incomplete
"Compacting" step.

As this has been going on since I installed Vista, we should consider it a
Vista feature

Re: shutdown

Look in Event Viewer and for ESENT messages and see if that gives any clue.

Also try compacting and repairing the database. See www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/
