| | Re: Outlook Express Address Book you can EXPORT either the WAB or as CVS(comma separated value) from OE and then IMPORT it to WM. be aware that neither will bring GROUPS across. I personally have had greater success using CSV file. mikeyhsd@sport.rr.commikeyhsd@sport.rr.com "DebBG" <DebBG@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C2C93B07-D2D3-480C-85F8-FFEFCCBC24BC@microsoft.com... | | Re: Outlook Express Address Book I appreciate your response -- however, I don't know how to do this. Do I have to have Outlook Express open and since I can't even find it on the computer -- I don't know what to do. I need specifics -- step by step help. Thanks. Copy your Wab file to your Documents folder. Make sure it is not Read Only. Open Windows Contacts. Click Import on the toolbar. Choose Windows Address Book and browse to it. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM http://www.fjsmjs.com Answer in newsgroup. Don't expect an answer to email. |

| | Re: Outlook Express Address Book Assuming your backup drive is accessable from Vista, type *wab in the search that comes right up from your "Start" button. You should see your little Address Book icon followed by "Type" "WAB File" followed by the location. For ease of remembering, right click on it and copy the Wab to your Vista. Than you can go to Windows Mail, File, Import, Windows Contacts and locate your Wab folder and import it. Pete "DebBG" wrote: > We backed up the whole system on a backup drive.
