| | RE: trouble with newsgroups I am having the same trouble as Bob. I'm following Comcast's instructions to the T on setting up a newsgroup account in both Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. But, when I get to the point of downloading newgroups, it keeps prompting me to enter my username and password over and over again resulting in the newsgroups never getting downloaded. I am using my primary user account from Comcast. I already tried deleting the account, closing the mail program, and then coming back and redoing it and that doesn't work either. Any ideas?
