can't log on

    can't log on

    Even though I've entered all the correct server (POP and SMTP) information in
    the account information, I am asked for a username and password in order to
    receive e-mail messages. The username and password are correctly entered but
    I keep getting that security message over and over again. can anyone help

    I have same issue. Here is my error message: Account: 'windows mail',
    Server: 'pop-server.swfla.rr.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR
    Authentication failed', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90,
    Error Number: 0x800CCC92

    Double check what port they want you to use and whether or not
    authentication is required.
