| | unread All of my newsgroups show items unread in the footer, even though there are none when scanning and none are found when Cntl/U is used as it also reports no unread messages. Each has a different number and the number in some groups has been increasing. Only installed for 5 days. Vista64. |

| | Re: unread That's normal. The count WinMail got from the server isn't correct. Been that way for years. Eventually it works itself out then goes off again later and works itself out and goes off again and on and on and on... | | Re: unread It happened in OE, too. At least on some servers. But there is a brand new bug in WinMail. If Group Messages by conversation is selected it will sometimes hide a few messages. Try unchecking that. "John Barnes" <jbarnes@email.net> wrote in message news:%23LMHJTfXHHA.1220@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Funny, in all the years of XP86 and XP64 I never had the problem.
