Finally I installed the Vista Beta 2 and wonted to install teh MS office
2007 Beta, but when I insert ANY DVD media to my DVD rom I get a blue
screen.

Any ideas?

Same here, I uninstalled Vista because of that reason. I have all my backups
in dvds which gave me the blue screen all the time.

Re: DVD

Have you checked with the manufacturer of the DVD drive to see if they have
any updates that may be applicable? How about in Device Manager? Is the
DVD drive in question "banged" out with an exclamation point or a red X?
It's also possible that a visit to Windows Update may fix the problem. Have
you tried that?

In Device manager everything is Ok. My drive is recognised and is installed
correctly. I don not know about manufacturer updates, I will try. I run
mycrosoft update and I installed everything that was offered, actually it
was some hardware drivers update but not for DVD drive.

Thanks,

Levani

RE: DVD

I read that MS Office Beta will not work with Vista Beta yet. And yes, the
subject is out of proper group. Try "Installation and Setup".

Re: DVD

Completely false.

I am running both versions of Vista BETA 2 (32 and 64 bit), and the Office
2007 BETA runs just fine under both.

Re: DVD

I just installed the Office 2007 Beta last night (Except Outlook) and
haven't had any problems as far as I've tested it.

Re: DVD

Hello

Office 2007 Beta will work with the latest Vista 5384 release. But it will not work with any previous release of Vista. Example= It will not work with version 5308
