Couple of Niggles - Help Please

Since changing from Outlook Express (Windows XP) to Windows Mail (Vista) I
have a couple of little niggles and wonder if anyone can help me please.

1 On Outlook Express I used to be able to click on my Newsgroup folder and
then check if there were any new messages in ANY of the newsgroups that I
had in Outlook Express. Now on Windows Mail, it appears that the only way I
can do this is clicking on each individual newsgroup. Is this correct or is
there an easier way?

2 On Outlook Express, I had my contact names (address book) down the bottom
left half (under folders); it appears in Windows Mail that you cannot do
this :-( Is this correct?

Thanks in advance

Mandy

Double click the newsgroup and it will go to it.
