WAB and Outlook 2000

I had the same problems everyone else has mentioned (e.g., the WAB DLL
message). I did find one solution with Outlook 2000. I still was able to
show in Outlook my Contacts, which were all my address book entries, or most
of them at any rate. I made a Custom View that included Full Name and Email
Address. When I showed this view, I then did Edit, Copy, and then pasted
that into an Excel spreadsheet [don't try to use the Export in Outlook].
From the spreadsheet I then did a Save As and saved the file as a CSV, which
I then was able to import into Windows Mail in Vista Home Premium. Hope this
helps some of you. Thanks as always for the great insights here!!

RE: WAB and Outlook 2000

Well I spoke to soon. You can't SEE what is in the message in Windows Mail!

Re: WAB and Outlook 2000

The Wab.dll in Outlook 2000 does not work in conjunction with Vista and Vista Mail

Re: WAB and Outlook 2000

Simple fix for this:

Go to \Program Files\Common Files\System

Copy these files to \Windows\System32

wab32.dll
wab32res.dll

This should fix your problem.
