However, I have tried the fixes mentioned, but although I have HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, I do not have HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mailto. | | Re: email links I thought about exporting that key and attaching a copy to this post. However, mine looks different than the example given at Windows Mail problems probably because I have Windows Live Mail as my default. Perhaps someone else can help you recreate that missing key. | | Re: email links Attached is the mailto registry key. Save it to the desktop and then rename it to remove the .txt file extension and the right click on it and choose Merge.
