| | Weird behavior when printing We have observed some pretty weird behaviour with Windows mail and Internet Explorer 7 and was wondering if any had a cure for this. First when you print a html based email from sites such as paypal, ebay etc it doesn't print the header information for the email - just the content. Second when the printing takes place it pushes window mail to the back of all open windows adding further keystrokes - when you are printing several emails one after the other this is very tedious. Third, if you click on a link on an email it pushes windows mail to the back of any open windows and if it is the only open window not only does it open internet explorer but it then opens a second window for the link. |

| | Re: Weird behavior when printing For #1, I think there are some known issues with IE7 and printing in OE and in WinMail. So you'll just have to wait for them to sort that out. I don't know about the others, but I wouldn't hold my breath. steve "englishsoup" <englishsoup@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:FCC616CA-9DB9-48C7-A670-C5F68D6DCA35@microsoft.com... > We have observed some pretty weird behaviour with Windows mail and > Internet > Explorer 7 and was wondering if any had a cure for this. > > First when you print a html based email from sites such as paypal, ebay > etc > it doesn't print the header information for the email - just the content. > > Second when the printing takes place it pushes window mail to the back of > all open windows adding further keystrokes - when you are printing several > emails one after the other this is very tedious. > > Third, if you click on a link on an email it pushes windows mail to the > back > of any open windows and if it is the only open window not only does it > open > internet explorer but it then opens a second window for the link. |

| | Re: Weird behavior when printing I have the same problem and found that when you change all emails to be read in plain text then the header information will print. That of course causes some other problems. Steve do you know if MS has been made aware of the problem? - Dan Miller "Steve Cochran" wrote: > For #1, I think there are some known issues with IE7 and printing in OE and > in WinMail. | | Re: Weird behavior when printing There is a hotfix for OE6, but I don't know about for Vista. We (MVPs) have indicated that this is an issue to MS. One of the problems with it and other issues is that they are sometimes hard to reproduce, but even when they have a "fix", it takes a long time for it to get to the users. steve "DanW9999" <DanW9999@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news EC6BA72-83E5-4020-98B6-8DE74D072053@microsoft.com...>I have the same problem and found that when you change all emails to be >read > in plain text then the header information will print.
