Can anyone help? Ditch Adob(loat)e and go for Foxit: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/ N times the functionality at 1/N times the cost, where "N" is any sufficiently large integer. -- Bob http://www.kanyak.com |

Usually choosing open with and then navigating to Foxit and checking the box always use this program to open this kind of file only has to be done once. Charlie |

| Guest | Re: Opening .pdf attachments I saw the following on another newsgroup. I think it answers your question. "Upon further investigation (meaning buried deep in the Adobe marketing literature) Adobe fesses up to the fact that they have tested Reader v.8 with a beta version of Vista and plan on shipping another version which will provide support for Vista sometime in the future." | Guest | Re: Opening .pdf attachments I have the same problem. I have to save the files to documents or somewhere convenient, then open them with Reader 8. For older pdf's, they will open with Acrobat 5 which did install successfully and work, despite messages that it has a compatibility issue. "SP" wrote: > I saw the following on another newsgroup.
