Re: why oh why

Maybe it is because you are posting in HTML instead of plain text - like
everyone else does!

In answer to your question - you don't.

Re: why oh why

Questions identical to yours have been answered hundreds of times here
in the past few weeks. Invest some time in reading the posted answers.

Basically if you are talking about web mail, you are out of luck because
Windows Mail can't do web mail. So that rules out the free Hotmail and
Yahoo accounts. Google's Gmail can be configured for either web mail
(default) or POP3. To do the latter, you'll have to log in to your Gmail
account via the web and follow their directions.

You don't need an email program to read web mail. Just go to the
website with your browser.

As far as putting XP on your Vista computer, I would not advise it.
Most laptop makers have not released XP drivers for Vista machines.

Re: why oh why

you have several choices.
HotPop, Ypop, Gpop for each email situation.
or PopTray which does all 3.
google for them. make sure and get the FREE versions.
HotPop is sometimes referred to as hotpopper.
