Earthlink service and Windows mail

How can I sign on to my service and have it open to my "home" page only. I
don't want windows mail to open and download my mail-I want to access my mail
from the web mail service. Can you help? Thanks!

Re: Earthlink service and Windows mail

don't use Windows Mail, use a web browser, like Internet Explorer or
Firefox.

Re: Earthlink service and Windows mail

Thanks Dave, yes I prefer the web mail at this point (gives me all the bells
& whistles) but I can't figure out how to get only the start page (like you
linked to) and not windows mail (it opens both) when I click/open the
Earthlink Total Access program. I don't want my mail downloaded to windows.
How can I tell what browser its using? (I know, duh) I'm having a rough time
with Vista as it is (old dog/new tricks...)

Re: Earthlink service and Windows mail

I'm not familiar with Total Access, although I was once a Earthlink
customer, so I don't know why it's opening WInMail. You'll have to check
with Earthlink.

I've never used any software supplied by an ISP, because it's not needed.
It's kind of like taking a bus tour, instead of driving yourself.
