| | Re: Spelling On a new computer with Vista pre-installed and Office 2007 installed I ran into the same problem of being told that this language is no longer available when I clicked the toolbar ABC button. I then went into "Tools | Options | Spelling" and checked "Always check spelling before spending" (it was unchecked) and clicked on the Language choice component (it already was on English and I left it like that). I then went back to my message and the error message disappeared and the spell checker said there were no spelling errors. It seems like a bug, and one that affects a system with no previous OS or Office versions. Of course, on Vista WinMail comes with a spelling > checker. |
