| | Email Files When I get an email with an attachment that is of the file type Email, Vista Windows Mail can not open it. I think it is a file that outlook express will open, but am not sure about downloading Outlook express just so I can open an attachment in an email. Not sure getting outlook will solve this problem anyway. Does any one have any thoughts on this? |

| | Re: Email Files Save the attachemnet, rename the extension to .eml and then open it. It's just a text file which is all e-mail. You can not download Outlook Express and install it on Vista. Clarify the file type, and error messages or behavior that you see when attempting this. |

| | RE: Email Files Outlook Express is now called Windows Mail. There are some real issues with Windows Mail and sending attachemts from Excel or other files except Word. The 2003 version of Microsoft Office does not work well with Vista. Hopefully, Microsoft is reading these blogs and preparing updates for those of us who need them NOW.
