I have a trouble with Windows Mail. I can receive any incoming mails, but I
can't send any e-mail. Does anyone can help me?

    Re: Trouble with Windows Mail

Turn off email scanning of your antivirus software. See
    www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

If that doesn't work then try this:

    1. Go to the Vista start menu and type cmd
    2. The search results will display a program titled cmd
    3. Right-click on the link and select "Run as administrator"
    4. type "netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled" without
    the quotatioin marks
    5. Test your POP account and see if you can now download your mail.
    6. If nothing changes, reenable the autotuning feature by typing
"netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal"

the bugs out...or... do I have some setting wrong? What should I choose for
settings to receive email to Windows mail? Thanks for any help. I will
hope to find a response....never wrote to a newsgroup, so may need it sent

    Pamela,
Because of the AT&T name change, us SBC/Yahoo/PacBell customers
are supposed to start using a new pair of mail servers:

Note that the port numbers have changed also.

Do you get an error message when you try to send?
If so, copy it and post it here.
