Sending email

I have 4 email accounts and the one I selected as default doesn't come up in
the "from" box. I have to click the arrow to ensure "from" reads as I want it
to. Why is this, and can I change it???

Re: Sending email

Do you mean when you originate a new message, OR when you
reply to a received message? It makes a difference.
When starting a new message it will use the default account.
When replying or forwarding it will use the identity of the account
that received the message.

Re: Sending email

You're correct of course, however in my case, when I forward a message it
defaults to another account, not the one that received the message.

Re: Sending email

Strange! I can't say I've ever seen that happen.

Re: Sending email

Agree; I'll just have to watch the box to ensure it uses my default. Never
had this probably win Win XP, just started with Vista and Window Mail.
