Windows Mail Help is very limited i.e. much less documented than the latest Outlook Express Help. -- Regards. | | Re: Windows Mail Help Hi Gerry, There are Help topics about Windows Mail included as part of Windows Vista's Help system. By clicking F1 (or selecting View Help from the Menu) the "Working with Windows Mail" topic will appear with links to other topics that can help you get started with Windows Mail. (Online version available here: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...71a521033.mspx) You can also use the search functionality of the Help system and use keywords to find specific topics, search for additional help topics online using the "Windows Help and How-to" site (http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win.../default.mspx), or by post your questions in a newsgroup. Thanks, Tatsuo Yamada Windows User Assistance team Microsoft Corporation |

| | Re: Windows Mail Help Tatsuo What you say is true but it does not address my question. How do you get specific Windows Mail Help without getting Windows Vista Help! If you select Help in Windows Mail you expect to Windows Mail Help. If you select Help in Windows Vista you expect Windows Vista Help not Help for every other Microsoft Application! If you select Help in Excel you do not want Word Help as well as Excel Help just because you have Microsoft Office! Have I made the question crystal clear? -- Hope this helps. | | Re: Windows Mail Help Even using Winmail as a search term (to exclude the zillions of references to non winmail programs even though I went via Winmail's Help menu. I still get billions. I found what I was looking for. But if I didn't already know the answer I would have overlooked it. As Help knows the answer but not the question. I hope they bring back the good help, When HTML Help was released I couldn't believe they expected me to convert ONE rtf file into several thousand html files.
