| | Contacts with Email add listed Hi, a client of mine rang in today asking if there is a way to remove the emails address listing after the name of the contact.. for instance she wants to send an email to "Jerry" not "Jerry <Jerry@happyland.com>" is there a way that i can remove the email from displaying after the contact name? | | Re: Contacts with Email add listed No, not at the composing screen. However, the recipient of that message will probably see only the name, not the email address. | | Re: Contacts with Email add listed If you type all names in the Bcc (blind carbon copy) line the names won't even show. Just shows "undisclosed recipient". That way no-one sees any addresses or who may be receiving the email. Hope that helps Sharyn "Howie" <Howie@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F42D1855-1898-4667-93CD-22D65B017076@microsoft.com... > Hi, > > a client of mine rang in today asking if there is a way to remove the > emails > address listing after the name of the contact.. > > for instance she wants to send an email to > "Jerry" not "Jerry <Jerry@happyland.com>" is there a way that i can > remove > the email from displaying after the contact name? > > Howie |

Except that some servers won't accept messages with no valid email address in the To field. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM http://www.fjsmjs.com Answer in newsgroup.
