    Duplicate sent e-mails

I recently purchased a new laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium. Ever
since, when using the Windows Mail feature, everytime I send an e-mail, the
recipient receives two e-mails. My ISP is Charter Cable. I e-mailed them and
they said it was my mail settings and gave me a link to the Microsoft home
page. I haven't been able to find any information to help. Does anyone have
any ideas on what I should do?

What antivirus program are you using? Configure it NOT to
    scan email. See http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

We are using Norton as our antivirus program.

    Re: Duplicate sent e-mails

Sounds like your email account may have been corrupted by
the antivirus software. Create a new email account (Tools,
Accounts, Add), with the same settings as the existing account,
then delete the existing account, restart Windows Mail and try
    sending again.

Completely remove uninstall Norton then install it again without the email scanning feature

    Re: Duplicate sent e-mails

When I went in to try your suggestion, I found that there was a second
account already set up with the same info. I deleted it and that seemed to
fix the problem. Thanks for your help.
