Need to add another user

I've managed to set up my earthlink account to default to Windows Mail. How
can I add another user in a seperate Windows Mail account? I found that I can
add them in my account, but you have to switch identities back and forth.
Isn't there a way to make another icon and have a whole seperate account?
Thanks for any help. Vista is really kicking my butt because it's so
different than XP.

Re: Need to add another user

Well, you're confised a bit. You can add them as an additional account in
your Windows account. When you set up an account in Windows Mail, it is not
just your account, it's just one of many that can be added.

Set up a new Windows account (Control Panel | User Accounts) for them to
use which is the way they designed to by removing the Identities feature
Outlook Express had (but can be simulated by WMID on http://www.oehelp.com)

Not sure if this is what you want, but you can add another email to your
existing account and filter messages from each email to their own folders.
If that is along the lines of what you need, post again.

Re: Need to add another user

Yes Les. I think this is what I want to do. Please advise. Another user told
me to install another Windows mail account, but I am afraid that I won't be
able to figure out who logs in to each account. Thanks.

Re: Need to add another user

Add the second email account, then go to Tools, Message Rules,
Mail, New, and use the wizard to write two rules. The rules will
look something like this:

1. Where the message is from the 'A' account
move it to the Inbox_A folder
and stop processing more rules.

2. Where the message is from the 'B' account
move it to the Inbox_B folder
and stop processing more rules.

Hope this helps.

Just in case you don't know how to add another email, use
Tools->Accounts->Add
