| | clicking and running an .wmv attachment in Vista Windows Mail When an email is received with an attachment that has a .wmv extension, the attachment will not run. However, If I save it to the desktop as a file and click on it there, then the file loads the proper application and executes the file. When I receive other attachements with different extensions such as jpg, mp3, pps, etc, they will open up and run with the designated application from inside the email in Windows Mail, without having to save the attachment to the desktop or other location before viewing. What can you suggest -- Bradman |
