Keep the read mail after replying or forwarding

Hi
I can't find the setting that applies - When I reply or forward an e-mail,
the original one is gone and the next e-mail is showing. I don't want that in
case the next e-mail is something I did not want to open. In OE I had the
settings that the original e-mail would still be showing and I'd like to know
where the setting is to have it that way again in Windows Mail. thanks.

Have you tried clicking on Tools and then Options?

What are your settings at view>current view, I have top and bottom options
only selected.
