Vista - Sending Attachments

Just got a new laptop that has Win Mail on it. This is the first time I have
used VISTA and WinMail....used to OE. The laptop has McAfee Security on it
and I am trying to email picture attachements and keep getting this error
message (i used a contact group i created in winmail to send the pics too):

One or more e-mail messages cannot be sent.

After you verify the format of your recipient addresses, McAfee recommends
that you resend those messages from your e-mail program.

Any help would be great! I also just tried sending a regular text message
and could not....maybe there is a bad address in my contact group??????

If you do a quick search with Google Groups in this newsgroup
(microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail) you will see that there are a huge
number of posts about having problems with McAfee and Windows Mail. The
very best solution is to uninstall McAfee and use a better antivirus
program such as NOD32, Kaspersky, or even Avast if you want a free one.
I find the built-in Windows Firewall is sufficient for my needs and I
suggest starting with that.

In short - get rid of McAfee and you will be able to send emails with
attachments.

Uninstall McAfee and do not replace it with Norton. Avast is free.

Do not send mail.

thanks for your suggestions. I think i am going to uninstall McAfee...I have
only dealt with Norton in the past -- so this is a little new to me.
