Use this instead...
http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas
then you can do what you want with your hotmail id.

Otherwise ask your ISP for a proper (ie. POP) email id..

Note. Some web based mail, such as Gmail, allow sending photos.

You cannot access a Hotmail account in Windows Mail, Harry. Sorry.
