Vista - Need to restore email for my wife from Vista WinMail back to OE6.

Have read message from Frank Saunders to save WinMail message store and drag
the EML files to a folder in an open instance of OE. The old account is on
another computer and each time I try to copy files to the USB drive I get a
property loss alert and asked is I want to copy this file without its
properties. How can I get the email files to another machine?

Copy it, the properties are used to index and other junk for Vista. OPen
the folder in details view then select new columns and you'll see the
properties.

OE6 won't use them.

Thank you for your input. I was stymied by the alert box and you helped me
get past that. I was able to copy the emails into an open folder in OE6
program.
