Vista - cannot send, new problem

My wife and I both have web mail accounts set up and as of the last couple
days her account will not allow a message to be sent. The system beeps but
does not show an error message, then leaves the message in the outbox. I've
looked at her account information and can't find an error. Any suggestions?

This newsgroup deals with the Windows Mail program.
How are your "web mail accounts" related to that?
What kind of web mail, Hotmail?

sorry to mistype Gary, it is with the Vista Windows Mail that I am having
trouble.

Chances are, the email sitting in the outbox is 'stuck' and can't be
deleted. Unfortunately this is a common bug with Windows Mail.
Once you get a 'ghost' email stuck in the Outbox, and
it won't let you send anything, your options are quite limited.
If you don't feel comfortable doing the database deletion/regeneration
method that has been posted here numerous times, then your
only remaining option is to install and use a different email program.
