Vista - Deleting Contacts in Windows Mail

The contacts I deleted are still showing up when I click on the 'TO' field in
a new message. Can anyone help get rid of the deleted ones permanantly?

Have seen it where you have to restart the computer in not the application.
Since Contacts are part of the shell now, I'd say a restart of the computer
might do it but then, there's no placing bets on it in Vegas.

Hi Judy,

If deleting them from within Windows Mail didn't work then go to:

C:\Users\(Your username)\Contacts

Then delete them like any other file. Don't forget to empty Recyle Bin
