    Yahoo Error Message

I've been using Windows mail since January and not had any problems. Now
I'm getting this error when I send messages. The connection to the server
has failed. Subject 'Test Page', Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server:
'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E. I can go to yahoomail.com and send
them with no problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

We heard you the first time :-)

It could be that the server is down at this early stage?

You can disable any 3rd party interference to your mail system such as spam
blockers and the mail scanning part of your AV software and try again?

**Next thing to do is 'munge' your email address before you make another
    post from WM!!**

Go to tools>accounts>double click the M$ communities account>on the General
Tab change the email address to jjl62mom@NOSPAM.yahoo.com

Enter the name you want to use when posting, at the moment you have "Jackie
    Laurent"

Doing some research yesterday, I already had tried to stop the mail scanning
part of McAfee. Still doesn't work. Took care of the 'munge' thing too
(obviously a newby). Any other suggestions?
    Thanks,
