If they don't know then there is not much hope for us!!

Try:
POP (incoming mail server): incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
SMTP (outgoing mail server): outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

How do I toggle between email accounts in (Vista) "Windows Mail"?

I am changing servers to Rogers.com. Currently when i open Windows Mail my
old Sympatico email account opens and I cannot access the "Rogers.com" one I
set up in Windows Mail (using "Add" under Tools/Accounts) DESPITE the fact
the new Rogers.com account says it's my default account. A Rogers tech
support person opened it with me over the phone so I know it works and i sent
myself an email using a 3rd (hotmail) private account.

That's the first problem. I want to click on Windows Mail and be able to
toggle between these two accounts, both listed in accounts under Windows
Mail. (I have Vista). How do I toggle between accounts using Windows Mail?

Problem #2: I successfully saved my contacts in a CSV account in Windows.
While in there..the saved Sympatico contacts..it says "export" and i went
thru that, hoping at some point i could send this contacts list to my new
Rogers.com account under windows and just erase my old Sympatico account. But
dammit i can't! The Windows Contacts doesn't ask me to type in the new rogers
account.

Re: How do I toggle between email accounts in (Vista) "Windows Mail"?

With Windows Mail, you can add many email accounts.
But all the email from all the accounts goes into the same Inbox.
If you want, you can create rules to separate the emails.

When you send a message, you can click on the From: field and select which
account you want to send from.

If you want to try the new Windows Live Mail, it has separate
Inbox/Sent/Junk/Drafts/Deleted folders for each account.

You have one set of contacts, stored in a folder outside of Windows Mail.
The same contacts are used for all of your accounts.

Tools | Accounts
Select the Rogers account and click Properties.
Make sure the box to "Include this account ..." is checked.

Windows Contacts does not have separate Contacts for each account.
