2 separate addresses-can i select, depending on arena?

i will set up an email address to frustrate the spambots - something like
bupkis@REMOVEgmail.com.

i want to use this spambot-frustrating email address for posting to
NEWSGROUPS.

but i want to use another address when sending EMAIL.

how do i accomplish this?

Set up both and use the real account or set up one and forget the other.
Just do not use the REMOVE in the mail account settings only for the news
account settings.

If you don't want the GMail account don't set it up s a mail account.

You're thinking and that may be the problem, it's just set up the accounts
as you want to use them.

Go to tools>accounts, you will see a list of each type of account that you
have set-up, - Mail - News - Directory Service.

All accounts set up under the Mail listing MUST have the correct address
entered.

Your account under the News listing, you will see the Microsoft Communities
account>select it>Properties>general tab, here you enter the name you want
to appear on your news posts. njw.
In the email address line enter your munged address, at the moment you have
nweissma@gmail.com , change it to bupkis@REMOVE.gmail.com>apply>ok.

You can now forget it, WM will use the address that you set up for each type
of account.

I just noticed, -- Unless you own the address bupkis AT gmail.com you should
not use it, munged or otherwise! It could belong to bupkis?

You should enter nweissma@REMOVE.gmail.com
