Vista - empty deleted items

I can not empty "deleted items" folder or delete items indvidualy.
I believe I already deleted these items but "Windows Mail" did not rempve
them from the list of items.
I cannot display the messages. I get a message that says "Message could not
be dispayed".
Whe I try to delete them individually, I get "An unknown error occured".
Any new Items deleted from the inbox can then be deleted individually but
the 15 messages that are "IN ERROR" are still there.

Please help!

Hey I found an answer!!

just follow the instructions below.
It is a "go around" not a cure but it works!
It will delete one(1) message at a time.

This should solve the problem! Very easy!

Left click once on the deleted items folder thats in the column on the left
side of the windows mail page, then right click on it once, then left click
on: empty "deleted items" folder, do the same thing if its the Junk E-mail
folder thats givin you the problem!(left click once on the Junk E-mail then
right click once, then left click the empty "junk E-mail" folder)

on mine I click edit then click all ,then delete. Hope ya get it figured out.
I've done all of mine trial and error with this windows vista. I like XP so
much better.You'll get it. Good luck
