Importing my address book from OE to WM

My addressbook for some odd reason was not stored in my message store and
therefore could not import it to WM along with my message folders. I coped
it as AddressBook but find the extensions for each address strange lookiing.
It is green and does not resemble the usual extension with each address.

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Raya

Re: Importing my address book from OE to WM

It's never been stored in the message stores.

It's stored in a WAB file

Moving from OE on XP to WM on VISTA

Dear Microsoft Windows Mail Team:

I was using a Dell laptop running on Windows XP. Now, I just bought a new
laptop running on Windows Vista and need to transfer all my contact
information (email address, setting, etc.) from Outlook Express to my
Windows Mail. Please advise what I need to do. Thank you.

Waiting to hear from you.

Regards,
Chris

Re: Moving from OE on XP to WM on VISTA

1) Copy the WAB files from XP to the Vista machine then use File | Import |
Windows Contacts

Select Windows Address Book File

Press Import

or

2)
Open Address Book
File | Export | Other Address BookText File (Comma Separated Values)
Press Export button
Press Browse button
Type in for a name Contact.csv
Press Save

Folder and Groups are NOT exported
