| | "check for messages in all folders" option doesn't seem to work Using IMAP4 with Windows Mail on Vista. The checkbox to "check for messages in all folders" doesn't seem to work. More specifically, I don't want to check all folders (other than the inbox) when I send and receive, so I have that unchecked. But every time Windows Mail goes to send and receive, and I look at the details, it's downloading not only all the headers from the messages in all folders, but the content as well. So it not only disregards the config option to not check all folders, but it's downloading the body of the message as well, which is entirely contrary to the fundamental premise of IMAP. So really, it seems like Windows Mail has some serious flaws with IMAP4. Anybody else notice this? Steve |
