| | mailto Hi, Is there a way to disable Windows Mail from being the default mail program when there is no other program to take its place? In other words, I would prefer no default email program than Windows Mail. The problem is that I am using a free MS Hotmail account and do not want to upgrade to the premium version. Any help is appreciated. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Hi, Is there a way to disable Windows Mail from being the default mail program when there is no other program to take its place? In other words, I would prefer no default email program than Windows Mail. The problem is that I am using a free MS Hotmail account and do not want to upgrade to the premium version. Any help is appreciated. I suppose so. 1. open control panel 2. click on Default Programs 3. click on "Set your default programs" 4. click on Windows Mail 5. click on "Choose defaults for this program" 6. uncheck everything in here 7. click Save to apply Hope this helps, Shawn |
