Cant delete any contacts

Ok, I am using Windows Mail and have found out that I can't delete any of the
contacts after I put them in. Every time I hit the delete key of button in
the contacts it says that there has been a problem and it needs to reboot.

Is this a bug in the code or do I not have something set up correctly or am
I just not going to be allowed to delete contacts anymore???

Hi,

The Contacts are integrated into Vista's shell not Windows Mail, so you may be able to delete them in C:\Users\(your username)\Contacts like you do for any other file.

Also, make sure you have the options in Windows Mail turned off for automatically adding contacts to your list.
1. open Windows Mail
2. click Tools
3. click Options
4. click on Send tab
5. uncheck Automatically put people I reply to in my Contacts list
6. click OK to apply

Hope this helps,
Shawn

RE: Cant delete any contacts

I delete contacts by doing the following. Open WM and click onto contact
icon. Find the contact you want to delete and right click onto the name and
delete.
