Re: Windows Vista Mail Spell Check Not Working Tip

I had this problem with MSN's email and I went to add/delete programs in the control panel of Windows and clicked on MSN. It asked if I wanted to delete it or install additional features. I clicked on install and had to imput my password etc. It ask if I wanted to install msn explorer's designer email and microsoft digital image suite. I clicked on those boxes features and it downloaded them. When I restarted the computer MSN now had English as an option for the email dictionary, which it did not before that, and now the spell checker works.

RE: Windows Vista Mail Spell Check Not Working Tip

Hi
Also got message 'Language is no longer available for spell checking' so I
went into:
Tools
Options
Spelling

drop down list... chose German and pressed apply

tried it out on test email .... it checked it for spelling

I then returned to tools/options/spelling .... drop down list for
language... chose English and pressed apply and when i checked the spellcheck
on new e-mail it worked!

Hope that helps

RE: Windows Vista Mail Spell Check Not Working Tip

Thanks. When I tried spell check, it gave me the message that "this language
is no longer available." I went into the tools menu and English was selected,
but I re-chose it like you said, and it worked. Thanks again.

Re: Windows Vista Mail Spell Check Not Working Tip

Glad to help but you need to describe exactly what is wrong.
Do you get an error message? If so, right-click on your error message,
copy, then paste it into a reply here.
