the "you've got mail" envelope and the ding lettting you know you've got mail

I miss the characteristic of Outlook and how it showed you a little envelope
and made a nice happy noise to alert you when "You've Got Mail." Anybody
know how to make Windows Mail do the same thing so I won't keep checking my
e-mail inbox but will KNOW when I actually have a new message? Thanks.

Re: the "you've got mail" envelope and the ding lettting you know you've got mail

Tools - Options - General - Send/Receive Messages
[x] Play sound when new messages arrive.

It uses the default windows sound assigned to new mail.

My WinMail also shows a small envelope in the Notification Area of the
Taskbar
