| | Re: Newsgroup files It has folders and .fol files from what I can make out. Don't know if that helps you out or not. You may be able to find out more from having a look-see yourself. Your message is showing up in that folder as a .nws file. If you hover your mouse over the strange looking file name, it will show who the message was from, and the subject. They are located in the following filepath: C/:Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Microsoft/Windows Mail/NAME OF FOLDER OR NEWGROUP I much preferred the .dbx files. I knew exactly where I was with them. Under the account folder, you'll find individual folders for each group to which you've subscribed. Files for each group are in the applicable folders. |

We spend years getting to a stage we can do all the stuff we do, then for NO REASON I CAN WORK OUT, they decide to change everything! Sometimes re-inventing the wheel is just not worth it. |

| | Re: Newsgroup files The message store in OE was very susceptible to corruption and was not scalable. They needed to change that format and they did after much pressure was exerted upon them by OE MVPs.
