At the top where it says Windows Mail, it has (not responding) out beside it and I have to shut it down through the Task Manager. It is VERY frustrating since I use e-mail for 90% of my work and I can't get in there. Windows mail has given be nothing but a bunch of headaches!!!! Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. It provides no protection not provided by the regular resident protection. Beside that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail. You are new to this thread. Please tell us YOUR problem, including the exact wording of any error messages. Not responding does not necessarily mean it's not doing anything. Does Task Manager say it is using any CPU cycles? Have you tried waiting five minutes? -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM Do not send mail. |
