Vista Tutorial - Error # 0x800CCC92

Hi can someone please help me ?? in my Microsoft outlook I get the following
message when I first log in.

Task 'mail.optusnet.com.au - Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name
and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts.
The server responded: ????????????'

I can receive and send emails without a problem, but I always get this error
message at the beginning.

Can anyone explain why or how to fix this?

You may have "Log on using Secure Password Authentication", or "My server
requires authentication" checked, when you may not need to. Try to uncheck
one of these at a time and hit the Send/receive button to see if you get
that message.
