Vista - Windows Update changed Mail back to Outlook 2003??

Yesterday I installed 13 updates - 12 were listed as important and were for
Office 2003, however after I installed the updates my mail changed back to
Outlook Express 2003 from Windows Mail. I had to use the set-up wizard to
get into OE 2003 and I lost all my messages from windows mail.

I did system restore and have now got Windows Mail back - the available
updates are still waiting to be installed but every time I install them it is
changing me back to OE 2003 - can anyone help?

This is a known "feature" of Outlook in that it takes over as default
whenever you have an update. See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#13

Go to Control Panel | Default Programs and make WinMail default next time
and that should fix it.
