Vista - Unable to delete email in outbox

I have been scanning through previous posts but have not found a remedy for
deleting an email in my outbox. I can still send and receive email. It just
constantly asks me if I want to send the one email in the outbox, which
originally was in my inbox.

Any sure fixes for this yet?

You can't have looked much since their are dozens of instances
of this problem along with the solution.

Use this utility and make sure you read and follow the instructions...

Well, I must admit I haven't read them all!

But I just resolved my own dilemma by a post from 'Steve' to delete the
Msmessagestore and it worked. I saved the link you posted in case I have
problems again.

You chose the sledgehammer option.
If it happens again use Steve's WMUtil first.

Txdogs,

I suggest you go to

www.oehelp.com/wmutil

and download Steve's utility. Then use the utility (after unzipping the
file) to compact your e-mail and the problem goes away. Plus I compact my
e-mail every time the dialog box appears.

It worked for me and hopefully will work for you.
