| | Inbox The first e-mail in my inbox opens as soon as I open the inbox , even if is previously unopened. Worried about possible malicious mail being opened automatically. Can anyone help please ? |

It's not really a problem if you still have the default settings, but go to View Layout and turn off the Preview Pane. You can add the Preview button to the toolbar to toggle the Preview Pane on and off. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM Do not send mail. |

Right click on the toolbar (Blue bar at top in Windows Mail) 2. Click Customize. 3. Click the Preview icon in left pane. 4. Click ADD button in middle 5. Click Close That's it, Shawn |
