Vista - I can't subscribe to newsgroups

I can't subscribe to the newsgroups that I need for my online flex net
classes. it tells me that a server cannot be found. on my dek top that is a
few years old I have no problem subscribing. Is it the Vista thing?

Hi Vi,

Give this a check:
1. Click Tools (In Windows Mail)
2. Click Accounts
Is there a Newsgroup Account listed?

If yes, then check and make sure the news server is correct with your ISP (Internet service provider).

If no, then click Add button and Click Newsgoup Account and follow the rest of the wizard's instructions. Get the news server name from your ISP.

Can you right-click and copy the exact error message you get? What server
is that you try to connect to?

Do you have a third-party firewall installed on your machine, which blocks
outgoing traffic to port 119? Or are you in a corporate network where this
could be the case?
