Opening DOC files from Windows Mail

I have Vista Business and Office 2007.

When using Windows Mail I try and open a .doc that is attached to an email.
Title Bar of the error pop up reads:
C:\User\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\blah blah

I get a message that says "This file does not have a program associated with
it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations
control panel."

Word 2007 is set as the default handler of these files.

I can save the .doc file and open it from Documents, but not right out of
Windows Mail. This is the file assocation list:

Hi Ken,

Go to this link and scroll down and do the second method. Change the .doc association to the program you want. This link will give you details on how.

Default Programs

Hope this helps,
